The testnet is live
BinnoChain is running right now and anyone can come in and try it. This is a test network: the coins you move are not worth real money, so you can experiment without risking anything. And what you do here counts towards the coin handout that comes later.
How to get started
Four steps and you are in. You do not need to know anything about blockchain, and you do not put in any money: the testnet is free and asks for no sign-up.
Get the BinnoWallet app. It is not in the Android or Apple stores yet, so leave us your email on the download page and we will tell you the day it arrives.
Open your account and pick your @name. That name is your address on every network, so you never copy and paste forty-two odd characters again.
Send and receive across networks. Move test coins to another @name inside BinnoChain, and out to the four connected test networks too; the app handles the crossing on its own.
Come back and use it again. Every transfer is written on the chain with its date, and that record is what will be looked at when the coins are handed out.
Straight talk: the app cannot be downloaded from the stores yet. We are finishing the release, and the way to get on the list today is to leave your email for the heads-up. In the meantime the chain really is running, and you can watch it move in the explorer.
Get some coins to try it out
To move anything on the test network you need test coins. We hand you a few here, free and in a moment. They are not worth money: they exist so you can try the app.
A reminder: these are test network coins. They are not worth money, they cannot be sold or swapped for anything, and they only exist inside the testnet. A small amount goes out per person every so often, so there is enough to go round.
Not everyone gets the same
The airdrop — the free handout of BNN coins to the people who help test the network — will not be split into equal shares. It is shared out by contribution: the more you use the testnet, the more you get.
Transactions made
Every transfer you complete adds up. It is not about moving huge amounts in one go, but about using the network for real, the way you would use any payments app.
Steady use
Coming back again and again counts for more than one busy day. Someone who stays with the network for weeks contributes more than someone who drops in for an afternoon.
Networks tried
The more of the connected networks you try, the more your tally grows. Transfers between different chains are what help us find problems the most.
The points counter is still being built: there is no board to check them on yet, no date and no amount decided. What is decided is what will be looked at — your activity on the testnet — and that is already being written on the chain from today.
This page explains how the handout is meant to work; it is not a closed commitment. The final rules, the dates and the amount to be shared will be published right here as soon as they are settled.
The numbers behind the chain
Below is what sits under the hood. If you only want to try the app, everything above is enough; this part is for readers who want to check the figures themselves.
The height and the validator count are read from the public node as the page loads; if the node does not answer, the last checked figure is shown instead. The rest of the figures come from the chain genesis block and from the node itself, and were checked on 2 September 2026.
